HBSE offers a variety of programs for students and graduates to make impact in the industry immediately.
Virtual Academy
Introduced in 2020, this virtual program is offered annually and provides a platform for rising Sports & Entertainment professionals. The program invites candidates from a wide range of backgrounds, which include schools, majors, and demographics. The program is completely virtual and is offered once-a-week for eight consecutive weeks. Speakers and topics range in across array of departments and leadership levels.
The academy is open to recent college graduate or current college students; or High School Degree/GED with 1-2 years of relevant experience.
Applications open early Fall.
Internship Program
An immersive in-person, part-time experience. The program offers learning opportunities across HBSE, which includes the Philadelphia 76ers, Prudential Center and the New Jersey Devils brands. With locations in Camden, NJ or Newark, NJ, this 8-week experience provides hands on learning, which includes, exposure to real-scenario projects, tasks, opportunity to network with industry professionals and enhance professional and personal skills. The internship program runs from May – July.
The internship program is paid and open to recent college graduate or current college students, either entering their junior or senior year; or High School Degree/GED with 4 years of relevant experience.
